DPM Care Selected for Georgia Mentor Protégé Connection Program

Big news from DPM Care: We are excited and humbled to announce that our company was selected for the 2017 class of the Georgia Mentor Protégé Connection!

Only 15 small businesses were accepted into this prestigious program. We are incredibly honored to be part of this group.

For those who don’t know, the Georgia Mentor Protégé Connection (MPC) is a business development program administered by the Georgia Education Foundation (GEF) in partnership with the Department of Economic Development and the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Through the program, growing businesses like ours have the opportunity to learn best practices from business leaders, explore new technologies, build relationships, and gain insight and knowledge to help us expand our business methods, capabilities and capacity.

The MPC is a yearlong program with full-day meetings each month, as well as other events and gatherings throughout the year. In addition, each company participating in the program is paired with an executive from a Fortune 500 company to receive one-on-one mentoring.

Our assigned corporate mentor for the 2017 program is Randstad North Americaa $24.5 billion global provider of HR services, and one of the largest staffing organizations in the United States.

We are being mentored by an executive vice president who has been with Randstad for more than 25 years. In addition to individual meetings with our mentor from Randstad, we will also attend meeting sessions with the other mentors/protégés.

The program kicked off on January 13 at the Coca-Cola Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. We were thrilled to meet the other program participants and our mentor at this first meeting.

We are excited to have the opportunity to listen and learn from companies much larger than ours, and hopefully grow our business as a result.

Our participation in the MPC program will ultimately benefit DPM Care customers because, as we have the opportunity to strengthen different areas of our business, it will enable us to better serve our customers. We will also have the opportunity to tell more people and businesses about DPM and the great work we do.

We are entering into the MPC program with open eyes and ears to learn all we can so we can be the best we can be for all our fantastic customers—both today and moving into the future!
