Meet the Team Member: Travis Shepard
At DPM Care, we value our staff and believe our employees make us better. The dedicated and talented individuals who make up the DPM Care staff team make it their mission to serve our customers with excellence.
That’s why we want to introduce you to the people who care for our customers every day. We’re doing that through our new blog series, Meet the DPM Care Team Member. This series will highlight different members of our staff so you can get to know the people behind DPM Care.
One of our great employees is the President of our Atlanta office, Travis Shepard. Travis began working for DPM Care in January of 2014 after ten years of service with the United States military. He served on the Pararescue Teams or as he describes it, “We rescued soldiers and American citizens when they had bad days.”
We are honored to have Travis on our team and are very thankful for his service to our country. In addition to his role as President of our Atlanta office, he continues to work for Special Operations Command, Africa, as a Reservist.
Travis is the guy that everyone wants on their team. He always sees the good in a situation, he’s uplifting to those around him and he is a guy you know you can trust. His innate self-confidence and charismatic nature make him a great leader who cultivates a fun and productive environment.
We like to say that Travis has gone from leading small teams on international rescue missions to leading the DPM Care team on missions to make spaces cleaner, fresher and healthier.

What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to bring cleanliness to people’s work spaces! We leave offices clean, sanitary and safe.
What’s the hardest part of your job?
Our biggest challenge has been breaking into the Atlanta market – it’s a tight knit group of property managers, but we are slowing making progress.
What are you most proud of with your work at DPM Care?
We have happy customers. We have customers that refer us to other customers. This is a positive sign of a good business serving good people.
Why should clients choose DPM Care?
We care! We care about you, your carpet, your tile and about when you replace your carpet.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to spend time teaching my daughters how to explore. I like to do CrossFit. I love to spend weekends on the lake and Sundays at church!
What’s your favorite part of living in Atlanta?
The food, hands down. I love the food and drink scene in Atlanta. And my family lives here – I have 13 family members to share meals with in Atlanta!
